ABOUT Michaela Bunda
Michaela is the founding Director of Genem Architects. She obtained her Masters of Architecture and Urban Design in Europe and has designed in Europe, the Middle East and Africa before establishing her practice in Australia.
While in Africa, Michaela was the design director and project manager for 'YaYa Towers, a commercial and residential development, which has become an integral and iconic part of the Nairobi CBD. She was also the design director for Hilton and Sheraton Hotels for East Africa.
Since establishing Genem Architects in 1995, she has been involved in the master planning and design of over 200 Victorian Schools. Her foundational design philosophy is to work in partnership with the school community, to facilitate the best results possible within the project parameters. The core values for Genem Architects are: Aesthetics, Function and Budget.

ABOUT Cornel Bunda
Cornel gained his Masters of Economics specialising in International Trade in Bucharest. His role as International Commercial Representative for Romania for international imports and export involved delegated sojourns in Canada, USA, Colombia, Italy and France, as well as Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Tunisia, Libya, Iran, Lebanon and Iraq.
His role led him to Sydney where he spent 7 years as Chief Romanian Commercial Consul in Australia.
Cornel joined the Genem team in 2002 as Financial and Accounts Manager and has become an integral part of the business through contributing to the growth of the residential development and acquisitions arm of the business.

ABOUT Ivan Petkovski
Since graduating in 1995 and joining Genem Architects, Ivan's role with Genem has continuously evolved with the company. His expertise in design and systems management is an intrinsic and important complement to the team.
On the design and drafting side, Ivan's solid experience with schools has afforded him the foresight and ability to ensure the details of the design brief are met.
From a technological perspective, Ivan's extensive I.T. knowledge guarantees that all internal I.T. networks, software and technology run at their best capacity, ensuring the company is well resourced with the latest technology.
